Some use of power tools may be involved. Creative spirit and artistic experience is good, but we’re also looking for skills like carpentry and basic painting.

You can bring your own tools and they will be your responsibility once on site.

Photographic Crew:

Being a festival photographer is a great opportunity to capture the world that is Little Lindi Festival. It allows you access the site in exchange for your time, skills and ability to play an integral part of the event team. We require you to take a set number of photos each day in return for free admission and camping, one meal per day and access to our volunteer facilities. You should have your own photographic equipment and editing software and be able to upload these in our required formats.

To volunteer with us you must be 18 or over.

You can still volunteer for any position and you will get a free adults and children’s ticket to say thank you. You will need to bring another adult to provide childcare whilst you are on duty but they can volunteer and do alternative shifts just let us know on the application form. Alternatively, they can purchase a ticket and enjoy the festival with your Little Lindi goers.

Yes, we welcome all to our festival, if you require blue badge parking or camping or if you need a carer ticket please email volunteers@lindisfarnefestival.com

We are looking for volunteer supervisors to help manage our ever growing volunteer team. If you have experience of supervising teams in your day job, at other events, or have previous voluntary experience and would like the chance to take on a bit more responsibility, please tick the box on your application and give us a short description of your experience on the form. NB. We only have a small number of supervisory positions and letting us know does not guarantee a supervisory space.

Before the festival goes live the shift times vary. Once we are live you will be required to work your shifts between the hours of 6 am and 10pm.

All we are asking from you is your time and a deposit per person (£60.00  + £3.59 booking fee) to secure your volunteer place at the festival. In return we will give you a free adult, and if you need it, a free child’s ticket for volunteering.  You will get the £60 (minus the Booking Fee) returned to you after we have confirmed that you have completed all your shifts at the festival.

If you have volunteered with the Lindisfarne Festival team before, we may waive your deposit.  We ask for a deposit as we have had people apply to be volunteers with us but not turned up or complete their shifts leaving us short and unable to operate or bring in paid staff.

You will also need to pay for your travel to and from the event and any food or drinks bought on site.  On our Facebook pages we will be helping you to set up car sharing and travel buddies to and from the site.

You will also need to bring any camping equipment, personal items, food, alcohol and other supplies you might need. During the festival opening times we do have food vendors on site but it is wise to bring supplies and snacks to keep you going especially if you’re arriving on site early.

In the last few years we have had people commit to coming to the festival but then not turn up, or turn up to shifts unable to work which has left us short staffed. By paying a deposit we can cover some of the cost of having to find staff at short notice as well as covering the admin time on processing your application, processing tickets, providing meals and crew merchandise and other volunteering benefits.

Yes you can! We will do our best to accommodate friends and family members (18+) volunteering together. Please let us know if you require childcare friendly shifts or who you will be volunteering with on the application form or email us on volunteers@lindisfarnefestival.com  if you have applied to volunteer at different times.

We send you an email confirming receipt of your application. Once this has been approved we will then ask you to pay your deposit via a deposit link to confirm your role.  Once we have confirmed receipt of deposit and processed your application, your place is confirmed. Tickets will be sent out close to the start of the event.

If you have any questions about volunteering with us before we get on site please feel free to email us volunteers@lindisfarnefestival.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
